What if Folsom produced the leaders of the future? What if the children of Folsom grew up to care about community, commerce, growth & traditions? What if those individuals stepped forward to listen, to learn, & to lead? I'm here today to announce that it will; &, indeed, it already has. This is why I’m running. I represent home-grown leadership. My background is uniquely suited to serve our city. I was RAISED in Folsom. I care about Folsom, both issues we’ve faced previously, & those we will face in the future. I'm an entrepreneur, utility commissioner, a father, volunteer coach & a professional security expert. I'll level set with the South of 50 shareholders, ensuring the development process benefits both North & South of 50; which includes the water element. I will ensure Folsom has a smart growth agenda, not a "growth for growth sake" agenda. I'll sever the ties between our elected officials, & outside developers who are using the Chamber of Commerce's BizPAC as a financing tool to prop up "their" candidates. I’ll do this be amending the city charter via vote to introduce term limits, & a voted mayor. I'll focus on updating Folsom’s social media/ tech footprint, bringing Folsom into the 21st century. This includes online business permit applications, citywide social media platforms & real time info via status updates from the city. My third agenda is to attract what I call “foundation employers” like Intel to Folsom. I’ll work with these campus style companies to organically produce higher paying jobs within Folsom. Our jobless rate is indeed low, but made up of mostly lower wage, retail based jobs which do not sustain enough earnings to live in
