Atomic Bomb World War II may be a proud moment in history for some americans and a pretty disappointing one for others. On August, 6 1945 the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Japanese city of Hiroshima, this destroying 90% of hiroshima and exposure to radiation. A few days later the United States dropped another bomb on the Japanese town of Nagasaki on August 9, 1945. The Hiroshima bomb on Japan killed between killed 90,000–146,000 people and the bomb on Nagasaki was between 39,000-80,000 people. This can conclude that more than 200,000 Japanese civilians died from the bombings on Japan. Despite these bombings, there were plenty of alternative options, using these bombs were necessary to establish the end of the war right away. These bombings may have been necessary due to other factors that don’t included Japan. As Truman may have been alluring in ‘atomic diplomacy’ by trying to intimidate the USSR. These bombs may have been directed to show the power of the United States to the world. This can react in other nations backing down in the future and not messing with U.S..
