I am interested in joining a sorority at the University of Arkansas because of the impact that cheerleading has brought upon my life. I cheered throughout High School and it was probably one of the best decisions I have ever made. It taught me so much in and out of the gym! Being surrounded by girls who I experienced pain, happiness, hardship, teamwork, leadership, loyalty, and most importantly love completely changed my life! Since I have always grown up being with amazing girls that I can call my family I hope to join a sorority to not only have the opportunity of having sisters by my side but to also put my time and energy into people and an organization I deeply care about. Thoughtful because I value being intentional about every little thing. My friends know that I am a huge thinker and I put very deep meaning behind a lot of things whether it's a gift, a nice text, or just an act of kindness they might need. Selfless because I am willing to lay down whatever I may have happening in my life to attend and listen to how my friends may feel. Another part of being selfless would be that I am a strong empathizer and have been my whole life! Genuine because I give my real self everyday and try my best to stay as true to that always. Precious because my number one goal above all else is to live for Jesus Christ each and everyday and I pray that he shines his light through me so others can see his heart! Faithful because my savior, Jesus Christ is something that I love to spread and plant in each of my friends lives. Strong because I have been through a lot growing up and have pushed through even though at times it was extremely difficult. My best friend and I have bonded so much through our lives growing up because of what we have been through with family. This leads me to my next adjective. Sister, My best friend would describe me as a sister because she is more than just my best friend. She is my family. I cherish this because one may never know how much you need family until you don’t have them in your life. I will forever value all of my lifelong friendships I have made throughout my entire life and truly cannot thank God enough for every single person he has planted in my life with such true
