Introduction. A leader models admirable traits within their character, setting themselves apart from their peers. With commitment to personal and professional excellence, leaders set a clear standard for themselves and others to emulate. Leaders are dedicated to a specific cause with binding devotion as they nurture a contagious environment of teamwork and cooperation.
Through setting the proper example, teams that I lead will be provided with opportunities to envision specific goals and achieve them.

As a motor transportation instructor, I was privileged to place my personal stamp on the organization. The direct product of my efforts were being disseminated into the Fleet
Marine Forces every 3 months. Over 420 junior Marines were confidently ordered across the globe with the assistance of my capabilities. Utilizing multiple leadership styles to reach a wide audience, I was able to set the example for how to properly accomplish the Marine
Corps’ goals. In creating an environment of opportunity, each class took ownership of their trade, binding them into a diverse group with unique skills valued to the institution. It was my goal to effectively mold each Marine into a young leader that would better serve the future of the organization. Being exceptionally proud of their personal and professional successes stimulate my motivation to carry on unwavering service.

Leadership Philosophy.
a. Set the Example. Every day, I strive to uphold myself to the highest standard. As I look myself in the mirror every morning, I accept myself as that standard. Stretching beyond physical appearance and performance, the discipline within my character is forever recognized and reflected upon. This form of exemplary character requires 100% effort to succeed and continuously achieve the strongest version of myself.
b. Create Opportunity. Challenging experiences forge the character of each individual.
Providing resources for others to expand beyond their comfort zone to gain knowledge and experience instills trust and respect needed for healthy relationships. When I lead by providing opportunity to others, I am investing in the individual, which reflects onto the betterment of the organization.
c. Accomplish Goals. Reaching goals do not come easy. However, as I continue to set the example and gain experience, my personal and organizational goals become attainable.
