In 2010 there were many significant events that occured and important people who have done big things. We as Americans never think about how dedicating so much time into a simple health organization can help the United States citizens out, especially the ones who have low income. Obama was a pretty important person that decade. When Obama Care was released it helped change American society by helping poor people so they can see doctors. The dedication Obama put into his health care is helpful for U.S. citizens because some don’t have a lot of money to spend. These are preventative and check ups, mental and behaviour visits, newborn and maternity care, lab tests, devices that help people with injuries and disabilities, outpatient care, prescription drugs, emergency room services, pediatric care, and hospital care. Continuing on Barack Obama is an important person because he was elected president on November 4, 2008. He is the 44th president and the first african american president. He was elected twice so he served two terms. Some of his greatest accomplishments include ending the war in Iraq, “Ordered all U.S. military forces out of the country. Last troops left on December 18, 2011.” and he also eliminated Osama Bin Laden. He also increased support for veterans since so many were coming home injured with serious physical problems. Other veterans also had mental problems.
