America has been a world power since the end of the nineteenth century. But by the way we are treating our country and the people that live in it, we might not be in hundred years. Over the past decade our country has faced many problems, some were overcome, some were not and are still being dealt with today. Healthcare today is almost a need, yet still not everyone has access to it. President Trump is planning on repealing the ACA, this action could impact to the lives of many Americans. Another big issue that will help lead America down the wrong path is education. In the Nineteenth century it was just factories polluting the air, now it is caused by burning fossil fuels and gases. Americans use fossil fluids for almost any type of motor vehicle, heating homes, manufacturing goods, etc.. As a country, we depend on these things. Effects of air pollution include, human health, global warming, and environmental degradation. Almost every American uses something, each day, that adds to air pollution. Almost half of Americans live in areas that have an unhealthy amount of air pollution. “47 percent of Americans live in counties with frequently unhealthy levels of either ozone or particulate pollution. That's up from 42 percent in last year's report” (Roppolo). Each year the percent of Americans living in highly polluted areas goes up. Living in these areas, you put yourself at risk for: asthma, infertility, bronchitis, lung cancer, and so much more. In 2015, 6.5 million people died from air pollution. If Americans keep using these gases and keep polluting the Earth, then eventually Americans are going to have to walk around cities with masks to stop them from breathing in the air. Air pollution in cities is a lot worse than rural areas, but that does not mean the air is a hundred percent
