College athletes should get paid
Have you ever wondered why there is a major crisis with fees and expenses in college? Many people suffer with debt issues and sometimes have to drop out. Some people have even dropped out of their team because it's a waste of time and without having some type of help there's no energy enough for you to try your best. Within College expenses, they have gotten higher and higher over time.
First off, college athletes have to have a way to pay for school. College students need to live off something so receiving money for playing would be a big help for them. Also they need to buy the necessaries throughout their college career but they need if they got paid that would be a big help for them. Not all of the sports players get a Scholarship. That's why it's hard for people to buy and get books for their classes so therefore if you need to buy something you really won't have the money which will also have you failing your classes. Just see college as the army, you get rewarded by doing your country a favor and representing.. Athletes need to eat and pay for tuition and also rent which is pretty expensive for young women/men. Which could be to much to handle and could cause stress. Young Athletes/adults are really worried and stress as it is and the fact that your getting paid for the sport, gives you more energy and to risk it all for your team.
They deserve the reward for representing and helping their college to victory and also inspiring other to come to the same college. In addition Many highscholl graduates did not go to college for the same reason, of the expenses that there is. IT is very unfortunate for some others but we think that should change.
