Should the legal driving age be raised?
At the age of sixteen, teenagers have permission to drive on the road. However, it is necessary to raise the legal driving age. Teenagers who are 16 get easily distracted, their brains are not fully developed, and most are still not fully mature and have difficulty making responsible decisions. Science shows that teenagers are unstable and underdeveloped in impulse control, consequence prediction, and emotional stability, making these skills essential for safe driving. As teenagers age, they gain more maturity and become more conscious of the effects of their actions.
