The game called soccer is different from most sports played with the hands. In soccer, for the players to ,maintain perfect technical skills, the feet are always used. A component of these technical skills are needed for a more accurate exhibition of skills like shooting, passing and dribbling. The skills of a soccer player also differ from one position to another, with a goalkeeper needing much different skills than a field player. It is important for soccer players to learn the basic skills and tactical awareness if they want to succeed in the midst of competition. You can practice soccer tactics by using group drills that work on skills and forcing players to make decisions swiftly in game-like situations. A good form of tactical practice is like playing a game with four attackers with three defenders. For such to be effective, the coach must give his signal and then they begin play. The focus is the four attackers attempting to score a goal with the three defenders attempting to stop them. During this training session, the coach can also use it to train them on the skills of how to dribble, when to pass and even the skill of shooting can be trained during this process. POSITIONAL AWARENESS Regardless of players position, all must be introduced to these various skills. Be it defender, midfielder or attacker they should have knowledge of their role in the field of play.
