A young boy, no older than eight, is huddled from the storm under a shack. His shoeless feet are freezing cold; his dirty brown hair is slowly dripping mud into his large hazel eyes. He never expects his life to change, always hiding from storms. However, a year later you see him passing you on the streets, shoes on his feet, clean brown hair, and glasses over his hazel eyes. He enters the United States building that claims to build third world lifestyle. 5 minutes later he leaves with a bag of clothes and books in his hands, an education is practically unheard of here. Another 10 years pass and you see his face on a poster, hazel eyes as immense as ever. The billboard promotes the same United States program that has brought him to overcome poverty. Helping third world countries provides economic benefits to everyone involved as well as being a humanitarian requirement. The United States should help third world countries for the basic fundamental of humanitarian benefit. If societies work together we can accomplish more and benefit the overall global economy. In our US economy everyday we have an abundance of supplies that go to waste. Putting some of those to good use we can help out of country economies flourish. If we build our relationships with foreign countries we can keep that bond for many benefits. We can help them out of poverty and create an economy that both creates and consumes favorably. Building these countries to a high status can exploit their raw materials. Therefore, we can trade with them and add new resources to the United States economy. Third world countries contain many special and valued assets that haven’t yet been discovered and don’t you want the United States to be the first to detect these benefits.
