We advertised training shoes called Monitors that are specifically designed for athletes who suffer from overpronation. According to SportsInjuryClinic.net excess pronation causes overuse type injuries. The lower leg, knee, and thigh all rotate medially. The rotation increases the pressure on the muscles, tendons and ligaments of the foot, lower leg, and knee. Common injuries of overpronation include shin splints, anterior compartment syndrome, patello-femoral pain syndrome, plantar fasciitis, tarsal tunnel syndrome, bunions, and achilles tendonitis according to sportsinjuryclinic.net. Usually the foot is corrected with an orthotic device. Ethos is an appeal to ethics, and also persuades the person viewing the commercial. We showed ethos in our commercial by the way that from when they kids to when they grew up they continued to play their sport. In our commercial we are showing logos in several different ways. We are using logic by showing that people who are athletes and are very active often will find some themselves with some type of injury from constant pounding with their feet. According to American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, 1 in 10 people have plantar fasciitis, one of the most painful type of foot troubles. With our Monitor shoe’s they will solve these problems providing the necessary padding to reduce stress and injury on the feet and legs. Pathos is an appeal to emotion, and is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response. The motivation to work out and the feeling they get when they work out shows their dedication towards something they feel passionate about. While working out, running or just training for something that you love brings back your childhood memories from when you began to fall in love with the activities you are passionated for
