Discuss the differing views regarding Euthanasia in Australia
Introduction:
Euthanasia is debated in most countries around the world and is something that has recently come to Australia's attention to resolve. The definition of euthanasia is ‘the painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or in an irreversible coma.’ It is when someone suffering from an illness is allowed the authority to die painlessly when they want.Though everyone should have the right to die when they want, there are still very strong views of the idea from both sides. The topic is important as it will affect the future of Australia depending on if euthanasia is legalised or not. Do you want to choose how you die? Many believe euthanasia will allow people to be able to control their life better. In Australia euthanasia has two sides people who believe it is good and those who view it is bad. Many believe you should make the choice to die yourself while others consider it murder or suicide. Both sides of the opinion are seen from the public to our political leaders. It is a difficult topic to negotiate. Australia has recently and in the past tried to fix this issue with euthanasia in parliament but it has never been seen through to the end.

Meaning they have the right to if needed. From a public survey 70.6% voted that euthanasia should be legal while 12.4% said no, it should be illegal and some are still unsure. Dying is a painful and distressing experience causing lots to suffer so many look hopeful for euthanasia. Some people in even loose purpose in their life because of the pain causing them to obtain an illness. How we die is one of the most important things concerning us. The world would be happier if people were allowed euthanasia if they wanted instead of stressing about dying. Majority of the public seems to want voluntary
