Butterflies are also very important, however the number of them is declining. Climate changes had a great impact on them. As we know, this butterflies rely on milkweed, because here they lay their legs and use it for larvae. Farmers are trying to save this kind of weed from competing for resources with crops. Weed management has been a contributing factor to the decline in milkweed habitat. As a result Monsanto company collaborate with nonprofits, universities, researchers and others to find ways to improve monarch habitant across North America.
