Changes/improvements highlighted: There were several improvements and changes that can be identified from the post fitness test in comparison to my client’s initial assessment pre-program results. For grip strength my client improved from her initial assessment results which were “average” based on norms for females 16-19y to “good” for both her left and right hand grip strength, therefore indicating an improvement in her upper body muscular strength. For the single leg wall sit test my client improved from “good” rating for females to “excellent” and also demonstrated an improvement in her form when carrying out the test (i.e., her raised leg didn’t move around). Such results indicate an increase in her lower body muscular strength Another area of improvement was the sit and reach test, where my client improved from an “average” rating based on norms for women to a “good” rating, indicating an improvement in her flexibility. Based on my client’s anthropometric measurements her BMI of 60 indicates she is in a normal healthy weight range for females her age based on European measurements. My client’s waist girth measurements of 72 cm indicate that she is normal in terms of being at risk for metabolic complications based on norms < 85 cm based on norms.
