Rudolfo Anaya –BIOGRAPHY On October 30, 1937, Rudolfo Anaya was born in the town of Pastura, New Mexico. He attended the school of Santa Rosa and a few years later decided to move to Albuquerque where he finished high school. He graduated with an English and Psychology degree from the New Mexico University. In 1963, he received a B.A. in English, in 1968 a M.A. in English and in 1972 a M.A. in guidance and counseling.
In chapters six and nine of Annotations, Professor Bazian provides a historical analysis of the dichotomies within race (in Confronting Race in America ch.9) and religion and philosophies (in “Islamic Reformation” and the West living in Our Minds ch.6). In chapter six, he explores the idea of an “Islamic Reformation,” a European idea inspired by Martin Luther’s actions and his disagreement with the Catholic Church. There has been a push for “Islamic Reformation” on the basis of political and social reformation. But as previously noted, this idea was initially introduced by Europeans. Sonia is an exceptional student when it comes to academics. She is very hardworking and will put in all her effort for everything she does. She has always had a great passion for science and finds her way to get involved in any science event. For example, last year she participated in the Alameda County Science Fair, and received fourth place for her experiment. She hopes to have a similar experience at the Stanford Medicine Research program as well, and her beneficial experience with the science fair pushed her to try out this summer program.

Let us introduce Jessica Blaker, our Paraprofessional in Spanish Services. While her talents are in her comprehension of the Spanish language, Jessica has a wealth of experience to draw from. Starting out as a French High School teacher back in the 90s, she quickly moved on to Spanish Tech Services and Cataloging. Advancing to an Account Manager for newly opened or soon to open schools allowed her to expand into Complete Book Services and then transitioned to a position as a Spanish Adjunct, her posting prior to her current title.
Cortez is currently in an academic placement that is well below his level, but he suffers from severe anxiety that hinders his ability to perform in a higher level classroom. When he is placed appropriately, he refuses to go to class and has eloped less than five times. His strengths include his ability to decode words and his fluency. He also performs well in mathematics in the areas of money and multiplication.
Some classes I have with Luis is math, Strategies, and 20th Century. In math class we talk about what every comes to our minds. Luis is that kind of person to go to if you need some one to talk to and just ask how your day is going. Sometimes I either see his driving his car to school or his sister driving him to school. He told me a story about whn he was driving, he was driving and was at the football practice fields and he was getting followed by two police so he slowed down to 15.

One type of graduate student is Gabriel Silva. Annotated Bibliography: Deinstitutionalization and Mental Health Vanessa Papania Kenneth Lam October 17, 2014 210827681 Statement about Essay: I plan to write my paper on deinstitutionalization and mental health policies. Mental health is such a large issue in Canada and affordable care is scarce. I plan to discuss the stigma around mental health, the lack of accessibility of care for mentally ill patients, strategies for justice and equity for the mentally ill, mental health promotion and the next steps. My educational goal is to earn a degree in Biology and Spanish from the University of California, Riverside, in hopes of getting a job inside the laboratory department at Kaiser. Based on labs that I have already done at the University, I found that I enjoy working in a similar setting. I would love to have the opportunity to shadow a connoisseur in a similar work environment, as it would be a valuable learning experience. I come from a low-income family in Oakland, California. The economic barrier that has restricted my family has prevented us from moving out from where we live.
