Political socialization is a process by which people form ideas about politics and acquire political values. To me my political socialization growing up, my family was very much into politics. My Grandparents and mother strongly believe in politics and getting involved in them as much as possible. As I've grown up I don't like politics much. I really do not understand them. I have certain views on some particular things but not on all. I think my biggest political issue is the government. I don't believe in all of the taxes we have to pay. There are so many tax laws to abide by I think it is ridiculous! My family owns a small business, that I work for. A lot of people can not afford to pay for health insurance but Obama wants to punish us for not having it. The one reason we do not have it is for the lack of money to pay for it each month. I think the government should be gone and we should not have all of these rules. That is my personal political socialization. Political ideology is the way you see the world and how you view everything. My political ideology was conservative. The quiz told me that being conservative meant I believed in limited role in the government and that I was very cautious with change. That I believed in "religious rights". I'm not sure how I feel about those answers. I really don't have a lot of opinions about politics I'm really just ok with whatever. I think that the government should not have such a huge role in our lives. The government should not have access to dig into people's personal lives. We should not have to pay all of these taxes.
