Fiction Narrative(good copy) - By Isabelle Seun I have written a mystery or thriller story. My story is being told through the eyes of a young teenager. The purpose of my story is to entertain and is targeted at young teenagers or young adults. I have written it in first person so that the reader goes on the same journey as the protagonist and getting a clear insight that you shouldn’t be too curious. The Map It was late evening and the wind howled fiercely. Thunder roared, and rain crashed as it hit the rusty corrugated roof. I began to tremble and wished that Grandma was back from her doctor’s appointment. I frantically ran around the house, checking that all the windows and doors were closed. Before I could shut the last window, lightning struck in front of me, and shattered the window into smithereens. There was only one way to find out. The rain had stopped. With my map in hand, I slowly began to rummage through the attic. I crawled behind a bookshelf. Nothing! Dust flew at me, irritating my eyes. I searched every item in the attic. Nothing! I could’t find any hints of treasure. Should I give up? Just when I was going to, I came across a loose floorboard. As I lifted it, I could see the corner of a wooden, gold decorated box. Finally, the treasure! I bent over to pull the box out; when I heard BANG! Pieces of wood shattered above me. Floor shaking, furniture tumbling down, books were being hurled at me like cannons. It felt like an earthquake. What had I done? I panicked, as I couldn’t feel my leg anymore. All I wanted to do was put the box back before anything else went wrong. I wanted to scream for help but no one was home. I sobbed in desperation, and looked around at the mess around me.
