The Intolerable acts were harsh laws that were passed to the people living in the colonies by the British Parliament, the british were the strongest army and that is why the were the one who made the laws, and everyone was afraid of them. The intolerable they were meant to punish the massachusetts for the Boston tea party, the British also wanted England to pay back for all the tea, and finally, they wanted more control on the colonies.
