Is Tupac really dead? Tupac, born as Lesane Parish Crooks, supposedly died September 13, 1996, just 5 years into his rapping career, but some people suspect him to still be alive. Tupac was a rapping Legend. Is it possible that he is still on this legendary path, avoiding his death, and still writing music? Along with being an awesome rapper and songwriter, Tupac was also involved with a gang, based around his successful career. Many rappers were jealous of Tupacs work, and wanted him ‘of the streets,’ but Tupac made a statement, that their feud isn’t even a battle, and their group already run these streets (Lit Freestyles). This rivalry began based on rap, but transformed into much more, and they began fighting for territory in the New York, and it costed Lesane his life. Many fans of Tupac's music, still believe him to be alive, because he still has music being released. His most recent album was just under a month ago, on November 12, 2016, titled Ride or Die (Anson). People are refusing to accept that this legendary man was shot down in his prime, at such a young age, and his great rapping career was cut so short. Most investigators believe that Shakur must have writing these newly released songs many years ago, and someone has found them, and proceeded to publish them (France). Although this is the most reasonable explanation, it has not, and cannot be proven. Lesane wanted to be remembered, and not just another rapper, but the best one to ever live. When interviewed, he once said, "I want to be in the future known as somebody. I want people to be talking about me, like, 'Remember when he was real bad?"'
