Even though the internet maybe taking over the USPS has always been a staple in America for “reliable communication across the country”. The postal office has given hundreds thousands of people jobs and branched out to packaged delivery and air mail. Postal Service can look at possibilities of reconstructing to match the new world, because if they allow more efficient communication that allows them to they keep their business, and be the reason why America would still have written records.

In Source B, it is shown that as the years pass, mail volume decreased to 177 billion rather than 213 billion as in 2005. As a result, the postal services have lost 3.8 billion dollars due to the percent drop in the mail. This shows that hurt if the USPS alter their service to fit this now modern world by “getting into the e-business...at least you’ll maintain relevance in their minds…(Source A).” Also decreasing services can damage the USPS even further, but expanding days/hours show people USPS is a reliable delivery service. Daniel Stone from Source 1 suggests that the USPS “do not need full-service post office every few blocks in NY...cut down on staff size and service required to and from each.” Similarly, to the situation with libraries, as technology advances, people are now living vicariously through the internet, less and fewer people go to the libraries to rent out books or CDs. Everything is now at the tips of people’s fingertips, some may say that libraries are a waste of space. With this in mind, libraries started to follow people into this technology world, and to stay relevant, libraries offer activities or lessons about computers or how to use the software.
