Internationalism is vital to black radical politics because it brings the domestic issues faced by African Americans in the United States into a larger global context. The Communist Party came to understand that exploited African Americans constituted what could be considered a nation within a nation. African Americans experienced much the same oppression in the United States as nations experienced under capitalism and its extensions of imperialism and colonialism. The Black Panther Party utilized internationalism in staunchly bringing the issues faced by black people in the United States to international recognition.
Blacks fell subject to discrimination and harassment again. Voting deterrents were at new high, with violence keeping blacks at home and fearful to go near the polls. Jim Crow laws were welcomed to the south and it seemed when African American to a step forward in American history, they were placed two step back. Eventually blacks were extinguished from state legislature in every southern state and positive colored influence came to a
1) The black panther party effected segregation by giving black people the benefits and support that the state couldn’t do for them. For example, they cared for their needs, championing their causes, educating their consciousness with radical views, defending them from the racist police and putting people in power instead of politicians. Most people in the media portrayed the party as an violent organization even though they were just a party trying to give African Americans power.
During the 1960s and 70s, America became a nation of issues and controversy. In fact, various groups of people attempted to identify the root problems within American society and the role of citizens in resolving them. During this time, the most prominent groups, still in existence today, were the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), the Black Panther Party, and the United Farm Workers. In the following documents, there were numerous issues within American society that were discussed, however, one of the most common problems were centered around freedom. In addition, another reason for change comprised of self-reliance.
“It is time to wake up Washington as it has never been shocked before,” were the famous words spoken by black labor leader A. Philip Randolph. After WWII in the 1940’s African Americans wanted to see change following the war. African Americans became more assertive for equality and the rights they knew they should be given. During this time the NAACP worked to end the discrimination within the armed forces. There was an organization called CORE, congress of racial equality that wanted to protest without using violence, which lead to the sit ins in the south that challenged the Jim Crow laws.
African Americans have had a troubled past in the United States. They had to endure slavery and fighting for their rights, and still aren’t always seen as equals today. Two major movements happened that paved the way for rights for African Americans, in the 1890s to 1920s, and in the 1950s to 1960s. African American leaders in the 1890s to 1920s laid a foundation for future civil rights movements by unifying African Americans and trying to get full rights and equality at once, while leaders in the 1950s to 1960s built on this foundation by taking a hands-on approach towards accomplishing smaller goals to achieve rights. Civil rights leaders of the 1890s to the 1920s led some of the first movements to obtain rights for Black people.
In social settings, African Americans faced many challenges due to what the US had planned
"How has the NAACP and Civil Rights Movement affected America" No one will ever forget the Baltimore riots. Freddie Gray, the young man killed by Baltimore police, became the symbol for the brutality facing young Black men. As a young Black man, it was hard for me to stay off of social media during these incidents. The riots raged on and many non-Blacks sought to remind our population of what we’re not allowed to do. Many social media posts focused on the March on Washington, Selma, and peaceful sit-ins, and captioned their posts with the statement: “Why can’t Blacks be peaceful like the Civil Rights Movement.”
In watching the documentary of the Black Panther Party (movement) and how they were form to better the communities around them. The Government officials, FBI in particular infuriated to destroy them in light to keep power among the weaker individuals of society. The individuals happen to be of color (Blacks, Latinos, and Asians). I did however admire how the documentary portrayed black culture at that time. Despite the things that were occurring between law enforcement and the Black Panther party, blackness was promoted and people were proud to be black.

The nineteen hundreds marked a period of improvement in all aspects of society: economy, politics, standard of living, technology, and entertainment. However, one thing that did not improve till the late nineteen hundreds was integration of African Americans into society. While it took several years for legislation to pass the Civil Rights Act, it was achieved through new organizations, protests, and court cases which passed laws in favor of desegregation. Considering African Americans were still facing segregation-despite the passage of amendments and laws in their favor- they knew the only way they could make a change was to take matters into their own hands.

Newton and Seale attended community college at Merritt and they acquired their exposure to politics by being active in various political organizations. The pair soon realized that the organizations on campus were not enough.
The Black Panther party, a very misunderstood but known civil rights party held a strong legacy. They achieved this through their actions such as their famous strategies, their demands from the ten point program, the numerous outreaches in media, their relationship towards authorities, and their effects towards the current generation. The Black Panther formed in 1966 by 6 men, very young at the time who were fed up with the white supremacy
Mortal Kombat X, hands down the best Mortal Kombat game in the franchise, has a deeper and more mechanically rich game than ever seen before. The game takes on entirely new risks, and you have eight completely new characters added to the old crew. The graphics are stunning to say the least, and they are probably some of the best graphics in a game. You have new and interesting attacks in Mortal Kombat X, and like always, there are new fatalities, which is what originally made the game popular in the arcades.
The impact of the Black Panther Party, along with other Black Nationalist groups and leaders, can still be felt today. Research, movies, and documentaries continue to be made on the impact of race on American society, and how it is intertwined with the BPP especially. With movements like the Black Lives Matter movement, and songs like Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’, Americans continue to look into the racial past of the United States and the FBI’s goal to obliterate the Black Panther Party, as the argument of whether or not they were equivalent to terrorist and hate groups like the KKK still goes on today. The Black Lives Matter movement (BLM) seeks to fight against many of the same principles that the Black Panther Party once stood for.
