Have you ever wondered how the north and south perceived the Civil War? What about how these views caused a war? Well, in this essay, the viewpoints of northerners and southerners about the Civil War will be compared and contrasted. It will discuss how the Civil war was a war perceived differently by the North and South. Also, how it was a result of their differing viewpoints.
Did you know this was the bloodiest Civil War in all of history? Anyways, this will be about the viewpoints of the Northerns and Southerns about the Civil War. One paragraph will be the Southerns Viewpoint and the other will be about the Northerns viewpoint of the Civil War. The final one will be about the similarities and Differences of the two Viewpoints. First and foremost, the Southerns viewpoint about the Civil War.
The South however used slaves to make them work on the plantations they owned and were treated as animals. The South supports the idea of slavery moving westward because that would allow plantation owners to focus on more important stuff such as mechanical advantages and inventions of all kinds. Another thing the South and the North kept butting heads over was the tariffs. The North financed its industrial development through taxed imposed by Congress on imported goods. They never ever touched the question of slavery.
