I should be selected because I am a really good helper and would be excited for any task sent my way. I also should be selected as a junior counselor because I am responsible in getting a task done in a good attitude.

I find it is very gratifying to know that when we all work together for a common cause, the outcome is beneficial to people in our community. These experiences in the New Hampton community have created and strengthened my values of hard work, academic success through education, and community participation. As an eager young person, I believe these are the key factors in having a career and being successful in life. I know that many of my peers share my enthusiasm for success and the New Hampton community has a history of strengthening young people to become successful adults. I also know the difficult decision that is before this committee in making the choice for those whom will be selected into this year’s National Honors Society, this decision will require both thought and hard consideration.
Moreover, I have worked very hard throughout high school to better myself and those around me in the many ways mentioned above. I also serve as a role model, both inside the classroom and out, by pushing myself to accomplish goals even I do not always believe I could, always respecting others and listening attentively to the opinions of people around me, and making an effort to enrich the lives of others. I am hopeful the National Honor Society will help me develop this further, and thank you for taking hte time to read my application.
There are many reasons I believe I should be inducted into National Honors Society. First, I maintain an A grade average. Second, I am a leader in my school and community. Third, I am very active with actives in and out of school. These are all great qualities to have.
I am extremely honored to be eligible for this opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. Becoming a member of the National Honor Society has been a goal I set for myself since I was a student in middle school. I have been greatly looking forward to this moment for a very long time. The first reason why I should be in National Junior Honor Society is because of my leadership skills. The first example of my leadership skills are applied to my youth group in the Cecilton Parish. I am the treasurer and help with the Ideas for fundraising. We, as a group held a spaghetti dinner for the church and I managed the money and the setting. Pursuing this further, I actively show leadership in school.
This is what the National Honor Society hopes for in a member. I know i’m not perfect and can make mistakes at times, but acknowledging that takes a lot of character. My academic achievements are a result of my determination and drive to ensure that i’ll be able to achieve success in the future as well as serve as role model to the younger siblings and cousins in my family. To be in National Junior Honor Society you have to have good character, citizenship,service, and leadership. First, I have good character. I take criticism willingly, and I also welcome recommendations. Second, I demonstrate citizenship well. Civic involvement is very important, and I have high regard to freedom, justice, and respect for the American form of government.
I believe I display all of the qualities mentioned in the four pillars of National Honor Society. I am a person of good character who displays the six pillars of character in everything I do. It is an extraordinary honor to be considered as a candidate for the National Honor Society. Being considered means I have achieved my goal in demonstrating my determination- in school and outside of school- and my willingness to aid people in my community. Being a part of such a prestigious organization is an enormous responsibility to which I will fully devote my time. Ever since I was a freshman, my goal was to work diligently to be among the highest scholars and to be accepted into this scholarly “hall of fame”.
