One of the lasting impact the Spanish settlements had; the settlers created a bad relationship with the natives. The natives had several purposes to contemn the settlers. One reason being, in document c, that it states that the natives inculpated the settlers, or more specifically priests, for transporting disease from Spain to the native’s motherland. Corresponding to the natives, the settlers also have their motives for resenting the natives. For instance, the Apache and Comanches tribes had slaughtered several innocent settlers and soldiers, as well as raiding a couple of missions around San Antonio and La Bahia (doc b).
I enjoyed reading your discussion post. The Columbian Exchange was considered to be unique as far as the valuable products, and then it was not so good because of the serious illness took over rapidly. Indians were really in danger at the time of the exchange, because smallpox was affecting them and causing them to decrease in population. Not only was smallpox a hender, but along with syphilis. The Columbian Exchange was a very significant event, yet it had many benefits and consequences. One of these benefits was that the entire global economy spiked. A benefit for traders was the amassment of goods that came from the New World. On the other hand a consequence of this was that diseases were spread a lot faster. This caused a lot of Europeans to contract new world diseases such as syphilis and Native Americans to contract diseases such as smallpox.
The Columbian exchange was obviously a huge part of American history, and had huge impacts for both the European colonists and the Native Americans. The appearance of the colonists had both negative and positive effects on the native people, while the native people as well created benefits and setbacks for the Europeans. Diseases such as smallpox, influenza, and malaria killed many Native Americans. The natives immune systems were not strong enough to handle them. The Europeans were also affected by disease, as they had never been exposed to some illnesses that the Native Americans passed on to them, such as syphilis.

The arrival of Old World populations in the Americas in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries brought about significant biological changes that had far-reaching effects on the indigenous peoples of the region. The Columbian Exchange, as described by Alfred Crosby, refers to the transfer of plants, animals, and microorganisms between the Old and New Worlds following Columbus's arrival in 1492. While this exchange had both positive and negative effects, the negative effects were particularly significant for indigenous Americans, who were ill-prepared for the new diseases, food scarcities, and abundance that came with the arrival of Europeans and Africans. This essay will explore these effects in greater detail, examining how they transformed the lives of Indians and contributed to the depopulation and marginalization of indigenous communities.
When the Europeans came to the Americas, they didn’t know how to treat the Native Americans because they had never encountered other people who weren’t of their race. So Europeans developed this belief that they were superior then Natives and Africans. They took their resources and took advantage of them. They treated them harshly and turned them into slaves to make them work on their land. Europeans also tried to change their beliefs and culture, which caused much resistance and revolts from the Natives and Africans.
The Atlantic Crossings of 1912 was an event in history that marked a before and after in modern civilizations, having lasting impacts on both Native American and European societies. This series of voyages led by Christopher Columbus had an impact on the discovery of new lands, proceeding to a process of exchanges in multiple areas from food, supplies, and animals to contagious and deadly diseases. This historic meeting and relationship between these two new worlds, better known as "The Columbian Exchange" marked a new era of exchange not only of goods but also of knowledge, bodybuilding, and identity. The Columbian Exchange was the main factor that thousands of elements that evolved in the Americas and Europe differently had the opportunity to expand and open the ability to adapt for their use and benefits to these two different societies.
The Negative Impact of the Columbian Exchange on Native Populations The impact of the Columbian Exchange raises the question of who was most affected by this period in history. While it may be argued that both the Natives and Europeans experienced consequences, this essay sheds light on how the Natives suffered the greatest impact. European explorers arrived in search of resources and land, leading to the transmission of devastating diseases that decimated Native populations. Additionally, cultural diffusion resulted in the decline and extinction of the Native's religious beliefs.

The main point of this passage is to show the contrast of personal beliefs that would let to conflict; Europeans focused on the individual rather than the Native Americans who accentuate the collectivity. European exploration and conquest were fueled by three main goals; god, gold, and glory. Out of the three main goals, two of them are completely based on individual interest. When the Native Americans first meet the Europeans they greeted them with gifts and welcomed them into their collective family. This just increased the Europeans thirst for gold and glory.
The social psychology class I am currently enrolled provides me with inside knowledge on behaviors used by powerful figures and everyday people in society. These behaviors and learned skills persuade people’s decision radically influencing the outcome of situations. Robert B. Upon the first colonial establishments, the Europeans viewed Native Americans as uncultured, unintelligent, and uncivilized. The first colonizers found themselves ultimately superior to the perceived rudimentary cultural and societal customs that were observed. Native Americans viewed Europeans as a strictly one sided cultural mass enforcement foreign establishment, stopping at nothing to enforce their perceived superiority in all forms of cultural and societal aspects. Differences in land use, gender roles, and societal history added to the wedging and hostility between the Native Americans and European people. Upon the European's first impression of Native American culture, the first notable aspect of their "species" and society was their promising outlook as potential slave laborers.

Manipulation is shown in many ways such as politics, the media, misleading information and false advertising. To convey one’s thoughts to your own advantage is seen as crude and unnecessary. However, many people have their reasons in manipulating someone whether they are good or bad. In Shakespeare’s Othello, the concept of taking advantage of someone through manipulation leads to unnecessary, horrible events.
