High school and middle school students should be allowed to have phones because they are mature enough to know when is the appropriate time to have them out and when not to. On the other hand, elementary school kids should not be allowed to have them because they get distracted too easily and would be more worried about their phone than they would be about their class work. Plus they do not need them for looking up information or anything like the way high school and middle school students do so it is not necessary for them to have cell phones at school.
