The topic I will be writing about is why students should be able to sleep in class. I agree with that statement because you may not know what a student is going through at their home.They may have to go home to long tiresome chores. Also after they do their chores they may have to do homework. Another reason I agree with this statement is because a lot of students play sports ,and have afternoon practice. Practices can last up to 4 to 5 hours depending on the type of day. At our school we have practice starting 7th period, and we don't leave until about 7 p.m.
After practice I have to go home to long homework for multiple classes. According to InquiriesJournal.com, it says a student can spend hours listening to teachers and taking tests, then have to run off to loads of homework. Teachers these days assign hours worth of homework each night. The homework I do can last up to 8:30 p.m. Not mentioning that I also have to eat,shower, and iron my school uniform. The last about another hour. After I'm done with everything I watch

What is the point of student staying awake for hours waiting on others to get done. In the long run than that might benefit you by refreshing you for another test. If you are refreshed you won't be falling asleep during any other test most likely.
In conclusion I think students should be allowed to sleep in class. It can benefit in many ways we probably didn't know of. Teachers today will make a student stand up and do work if they go to sleep, but sleeping in class really isn't bad in some cases. The nap can help students to be more active in classroom activities after they wake up. It also can increase test scores. This is I think it should be allowed. My only is the students have to get whatever work they missed while they were
