The story of Sarai, later called Sarah begins when her husband Abraham, the patriarch of the Jewish faith, makes a covenant with God that promises him and Sarah countless descendants as well as from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates. Sarah and Abraham reached the promised land but, Sarah was old and had no children, so she gave her handmaid, Hagar, to Abraham. She bore him a son named Ishmael but, began to be rude to Sarah. Retaliation Sarah began abusing her causing her to run away. An angel then made a covenant with Ishmael and Hagar causing her to return. A few years had passed and three men came to Sarah and Abraham telling them that they would have a son in a year, they both laughed believing that they were too old to have kids, but
