Chile Chile is a unique country, Chile’s most popular sport is soccer they have appeared 8 times in the FIFA world cup. The capital of Chile is Santiago and the official language they speak is spanish. The largest meal the chileans eat is lunch. Lunch is the most important meal for them because around lunch time thats when they are most hungry. Chile has various types of climates, but the climate that is most common is rain. For the capital Santiago its common to be very hot even through the winter times, they define it as “hot like the summer”. But it also rains a lot there, when it rains it is still very humid like the weather is still warm. The south of Chile is very different though, it is very damp and cold when you go down south you are entering a whole new climate zone. …show more content…

They have different kinds of buses like a long distance bus where there is a bathroom and serve drinks like coffee and tea. When you are deep in the city the buses are usually crammed and packed but the bus fare is cheap, it costs around 0.35$ for a short trip. Another mode of transportation is using a boat, but it is hard to find boats as they go up and down the coastline. Your best bet is heading down south for a boat. Chile is not cheap, its best to not go around the holidays especially around christmas time, you should buy tickets ahead of time. Chile does have direct connections with North America if you don’t want to take a one way flight there you can also have the option of flying to their neighboring countries Argentina, Peru, or Bolivia. The cost of a round trip to Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Argentina is usually around 237$. Your best bet of getting to Chile faster is to take a one way trip there instead stopping it may cost a little more but it will be worth
