I was a college English professor for several years, until I lost my job. I thought that I would never be able to help out anyone with reading again. That was until a man named Guy Montag called me asking me how many copies of the Bible were left. Then he met up with me at my house. Someone was banging on the door. ¨Who is it?¨ I yelled. ¨Its Montag.¨ As he slowly eased open the door. I could see his face was covered scratches. I asked him what happened. Beatty is the head of the fire department so he is looking for Montag. If Beatty finds out where Montag is he will make Montag go back to his house and burn every book he had. I have been so stressed out lately because of everything that has been going on. Helping Montag is the most stressful thing out of them all. He is the fugitive not me so why should I be scared of getting caught. I'm not the one who was hiding books in my house. That was Montag and now he needs to learn from his mistakes. I hate when I second guess myself because now I feel bad for Montag and am willing to hide a fugitive and get in trouble rather then turn him in and not be a bad guy but instead be the good guy. Montag isn't even that bad of a person. So what if he did hide a couple books in his house. I have known of people doing worse things than that. Besides what's the big deal about books anyway. We can read about stuff and learn about other people's lives.The next time I seen Montag was 3 days later. And around this time he has turned himself in to the fire department and the police.
