Propaganda There is much propaganda in America as well in “ Taurangi 451” by Ray Bradbury, in both worlds citizens are subjected to propaganda on a constant basis. Propaganda in the story “ Fahrenheit 451” shows how the government encourages decisions made by the characters by showing themselves as threatening. Also, the definition of propaganda: propaganda is biased, misleading, and inaccurate, to promote a figure (something or someone). By creating an impression that the product or service being advertised is already popular and widely accepted, like trends. It is how the company attracts customers towards a product and changes their views about other products. For example, McDonalds advertises a good-looking perfect burger but when you receive it, it is not exactly like the picture. You will see this in many food chains, they want you to appeal to your eyes that sometimes does not appeal to your mouth. Another example is when a fitness company uses recommendations from customers who have achieved their fitness goals and improved their health, using the company’s products to appeal to the audience’s desire for health and wellness, like fat loss, workout programs that enhance your body, etc. So, in summary of this section propaganda is in ads, is meant to influence your decision of buying things also some other companies use their product compared to others to show how good it is. How is propaganda on social media? Propaganda on social media. for example, Facebook and their history of ISIS. They create a lot of bots in apps and start to do propaganda posters. and say another country bad and they are good and not aggressive, and everyone try to annex them and slave their people.
