Queen was the greatest band to ever live. Their stage presence was greater than the queen herself. Queen has made the whole world smile with their rocker antics and their hard rock stadium filling music that transcends generations. Queen had a profound influence on the rock industry that would land them in the rock and roll hall of fame. Freddie Mercury, John Deacon, Brian May, and Roger Taylor the four members of the band will go down in history as rock gods. While attending the imperial college of London, students Brian May and Tim Staffell decided to start a band. They placed a flier on the community post board stating that they were looking for a drummer. A young dental student named Roger Taylor applied. The Band was formed and they named themselves smile, a precursor to the famous band queen. A young Freddie Mercury fell in love with the band and had become their biggest fan. They also recorded and released their third album “A Night at the Opera” The most expensive record produced that year. The album broke all previous records held by previous albums by Queen. Launching them to the top of the billboards. The album went triple platinum in America and was voted 13th greatest album of all time by the British public. The album was headlined with the song Bohemian Rapsody. The song was originaly3 different songs, but the band couldn’t decide which one to release so they mashed them all together.
