Ideals Transcend Social Classification:
The Comparison and Contrasting of Fascism and Capitalism In todays society political labels are thrown around with little investigation or care into the true meaning. Fascism and Capitalism are applied freely to any thought or ideology that is in conflict with ones own belief, therefore this frivolous application dilutes the foundational values of both political and social theories. The variation of beliefs and doctrines that make up both Fascism and Capitalism provide two powerful ideologies that span the spectrum of political classifications. To fully compare and contrast the two points of view one must begin with a basic understanding of the basic vision of each theory. The premise of Capitalism is “extremely individualistic” in its doctrine, basing the standards of the classification on the “every man will have to earn his own worth” (Communism vs. Capitalism Fact Sheet, n.d., pg. 1). Interestingly, they do have some thoughts or ideals that are woven between the two; just the execution varies which generates different outcomes or perspectives. For instance, Fascism is seen as all controlling and harsh for the people that live under the rule of the dictator, many times ending in the deaths of many innocent people. Capitalism is touted as more blissful individual geared society that one can be all that they want to be, if they try hard enough. Hidden is the perspective that “capitalism, on the other hand, feeding selfish desires can create capitalist autocrats who can have control of life and death over thousands of people, leading to exploitation” (Communism vs. Capitalism Fact Sheet, n.d., pg.
