In Shakespeare’s play Macbeth fate is a dominant theme in the play. Just because the witches were precise about Macbeth’s prophecy that Macbeth would become Thane of Cawdor did not mean that he had to take actions in his own hand and kill Duncan who is the current king to become king. Instead, since he was destined to become king there was no need to act but to wait and see the witches did not say anything about killing. Somewhat we see the witches' prophecies clearly acting upon the actions of Macbeth who pursued to kill the current king to gain power. With Lady Macbeth playing a part of the play telling him to go through with the plan and kill Duncan. I believe that Shakespeare’s message on this play is that everyone is destined to fulfill
