Pure fear can be experienced in a vast amount of ways, especially in a high stakes, hyped up college football game. Florida was supposed to play LSU in early October when Hurricane Matthew hit, postponing the game. The entire LSU staff and players were talking trash and saying that Florida was too scared to play them. Eventually, this resulted in Florida to have to play in LSU in the second to last game of the season. Even more so, if Florida won this game they would be the SEC champs. The built up fear from anticipation of the outcome of the game would finally go away, but whether joy or sadness would replace it, no one would know. Florida was up by six on LSU’s last possession with four minutes to go. They drove down into the red zone and on 1st and goal got it to the five. Ok, 2nd and goal at the 5 LSU gets it to the one-yard line and has two plays to score. I can feel my heart beating staring at the TV. Here we go, LSU hands it off to the full back, Florida gets a nice defensive push and stops it.
