The government believe that globalization will bring a lot of benefit to the nation when engage in free trade. The government sign various agreement and actively participate in global organization to reduce trade and investment barrier and encourage foreign direct investment. The government support North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) which is an agreement to create trilateral rules based trade bloc in North American that sign by Canada, Mexico and United States. NAFTA emphasis in various aspect such as trade barrier, intellectual property, environment, agricultural and transportation infrastructure among the three nation to facilitate free trade. NAFTA successful remove more than fifty percent Mexico’s export to United State (US) and meet duty free trade among Canada and US. Most of the nation engage in free trade to take advantage of globalization of production and market. Free trade enable a country specialize in produce the product that its country can produce more efficiency and import the product that product more efficiency in another country. Then, the citizen can consume several of good at the lowest price. Government should participate in the supranational organization maintain world peace and facilitate the international cooperation with other nation in trade such as World Trade Organization, European Union and United nation. These organization successful reduce the tariff to free flow of good and take advantage of reduce of cost of goods among the nation.
