Mattison (2012) stated in his Introduction to Male and Female Reproductive Function the structure of the female reproductive system as follows: “the female reproductive system is controlled by components of the central nervous system, including the hypothalamus and pituitary. It consists of the ovaries, the fallopian tubes, the uterus, and the vagina”. The main focus of this study is the vagina. The vagina, defined by Hoffman (2006), is an elastic, muscular canal with a soft, flexible lining that provides lubrication and sensation.

Some women believe that it can prevent most sexual health situations if it were used frequently. Although, even if it may affect the intimate area in a good way, unfortunately, there are also negative effects in using feminine wash.

Effects of Using Feminine Wash

Numerous women use feminine wash everyday, for some, it is part of their daily cleansing. Feminine wash is designated for the vagina. Its main role is to prevent odor, to balance pH, and to cleanse the intimate area. Having these kinds of functions results it to be popular among women because it makes it easier to take care of one’s hygiene.
There are a lot of benefits in using feminine wash. Lewis (2015) stated in her article “Happiness from Health with Feminine Wash” some advantages:
 Feminine wash is specially designed to keep the vaginal area hygiene. It contains lactic acid with a 3.5 PH level which helps maintain the vaginal part from infection.
 Feminine was not only decrease the vaginal discharge but also reduces the chances of any infection.
