Although the interview felt very successful, I feel as if I could have changed a few minor details to improve my professionality. To bagan with I don’t recall properly introducing myself, I felt as if I was a little scattered when talking to Allen when we gathered for the interview. I also made a big mistake of not choosing a proper location. Our plan was to sit outside on campus and conduct the interview, but I did not take into account the weather, nor the amount of noise that surrounded us, Thankfully we found an empty lecture room, where we were not

This meeting brought me out of my comfort zone and taught me to network. As a greeter at the registration table, I had the benefit of meeting and interacting with pharmacists and vendors as they arrived at the event. Walking through the exhibit hall, I learned about the businesses I may encounter in my career as a pharmacist and interacted with employees from businesses the independent pharmacy I work for uses. These employees were from the same region of the state as the pharmacy I work for, proving to be valuable contacts. I encountered these same contacts when I had the opportunity to attend ThoughtSpot 2017, a trade show held by AmerisourceBergen.

2. I found numerous things to be very interesting during her presentation. As I was unfamiliar with the field of Human Resources, I thought it was interesting to see how the field has evolved and changed over the years. I think it is very interesting that Human Resources interact with many people throughout the company they work for and their “clients” are the staff in the company. I also found it interesting that a person working in Human Resources needs to know all the different aspects of the business environment, including things like balance sheets and laws.
