I am writing to let you know that I am concerned about a student in you 1st period choir class. On 3/7 Ethan Nooner hit Spencer with his back pack. The backpack had pencils positioned in such a way that lead from the pencils wounded Spencer 's right hand. You sent Spencer to the nurse. The nurse removed the pencil lead from Spencer 's hand.
A sergeant opened the door to our tent and commanded us to go to dinner. We were marched over to eat. This had been the most intense couple days of my life. It changed everything and all I knew from home was gone.
Before I even step foot in the door I could hear sobbing and the distress in a woman 's voice. I carried in the necessary equipment, the cops were actively doing CPR as the advanced life support provider (ALS) was looking for IV access. As EMS personnel we took over for the cops, we placed a LUCAS device on him, it 's a device that does compressions for you. Then, we continued ventilating the patient and placed him on a backboard in preparation to transport and move the patient.
I had a fun, busy, and learned a lot kind of day. Nurse Lily was very pleasant, informative, and she wanted to me to do hands on nursing care with the students. That day was Puberty educational day for the 5th graders. There were parents that we showed the Puberty video separate from the students. I was shocked to see that there were only seven parents that showed up and they were all female.
The last and final vet clinic that I visited was the Lakeland Vet Clinic, which is located in Manson. With the help of my mom, I had successfully gained a few hours of job shadowing. I was ecstatic but also nervous because I have never personally experienced what the every day life of a vet is really like. On a Monday morning, my mom drove me to the clinic. When we walked in both my mom and I were introduced to Dr. Rich the Assistant Vet.
This poem is about a young man that is in the midst of battle, trying to cross an open space of land to kill the enemy that is hiding in the “green hedge” in the distance, and all the while confused about what he is doing. He knows physically that he is charging at the enemy, but when he thinks about his reason for doing it, he has no answer for himself. He is ashamed of the “human dignity” that is “Dropped like luxuries” in the “cold clockwork” that he is participating. I felt a connection with this poem mostly in the line of “Listening between his footfalls for the reason of his still running” as I often find myself in the same situation as this man. During the school seasons in particular, I wonder sometimes why I do what teachers tells
Monday as all past weeks has been one day a little hard for me as I am always nervous and I feel like I will not know how to act if an emergency situation arises. I was not able to sleep all night thinking about what I was going to find next day on the third floor. Today was a very exhausting day. Filled with many challenges and new things for me. It was the first time that I was with someone who had caution precaution because of C diff or Clostridium difficile infection and Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection.
Besides, I was going to a beach for a week, it's basically a vacation, right? After ending up at my destination, i quickly learned I would really be doing some work. I was assigned to work at a homeless shelter from 8 am until around 3 pm. When we got to the destination, I learned my group would be putting together new beds that were going into the new building that would allow 700+ homeless men stay. We also sorting clothing that would soon be given to the many men, women, and children.
My fourth day at Agape hospice I was the administrative of the day. When I was asked to be the administrative of the day I was nervous again. I was nervous because I was in charge of the office in the front. By being in charge of the front,I had the opportunity to work at the front desk by answer phone calls, and help assist the staffs. I was afraid of things going wrong and thing did went wrong.
Internship Being an intern in the nursing department at York College has been one of the most enjoyable and interesting activities I have done. I had the opportunity to see how professors try to help students and I got to see the hard work and responsibility that it is to be a nursing student. My duties as intern were to answer students question about the nursing program, setting up laboratory equipment, and interacting and helping professors Shadowing physician Shadowing Dr. George showed how that the work of a doctor is never done, but the satisfaction of helping others overpassed any work.
I was highly impressed by the overall teamwork in the emergency department. It has a sense of organized chaos that would have taken me some time to adjust to. My nurse and I ended up going through a large group of patient during the time I was there. The nurse has this uniformity to how she would get her tasks done. The thing that through me off was the amount of stuff got done with our patients by other people.
Fourth week of coop was good. I got more comfortable with the working environment. I got to know more about the stuffs. I have learnt to how to print the medications review for each patients. I got the experience of how to answer patients phone calls and put on hold.
I was assigned my first group and I was busy the rest of the day. My first day was done and I couldn’t be happier I had the best job in the world, according to my book.
During the second week, I was feeling more comfortable and confident working closely with the other health care providers and residents in the facility. The most interesting and enjoyable part of my time at the facility was caring and assisting
Description During my clinical group orientation trauma units on the second week, I was collecting more information from the patient when I noticed that one of the doctors are trying to convince the patient to removes one of the drainage tubes that was connected to the patient abdominal.
