The outsiders In this Century everybody's fighting. They are fighting for all different reasons. But fighting doesn’t solve anything, it only makes things worse. Anytime you fight there is always a downfall and you don’t walk away with everything perfect. FIghting's not gonna make everything perfect, In fact most of the time people walk away with more problems they started with. Fighting won’t fix the world's problems. In the book The Outsiders By S.E Hinton shes shows in multiple ways how the fights among only the Greasers and Socs don’t fix anything yet they do cause more things form them to deal with. Johnny Cade is a character that belongs to Greaser gang. One day Johnny was jumped by the Socs, It was four Socs against Johnny. Jonny ended up being hurt very badly. Johnny was scarred. He then decided to always carry a pocket knife just incase they tried to jump him again. Here is a quote from the book that shows how bad it affected johnny after he got jumped. “ But after the night of the beating, johnny was jumpier than ever. I didn’t think i’d ever see him ever get over it.” This shows that he was not the same from the fight. The fight did no good. What did the socs accomplish from jumping him? Nothing. The “Big fight”. The big battle between the greasers and socs. People throwing punches left and right. People were bleeding and hurt. But think about it what did it accomplish? Here is a great quote from Randy(A Soc). “ Forget if you win, Greasers will still be Greasers and Socs will still be Socs.” This proves that the big fight was not worth it and it only hurt people. It did no good. There is still going to be hate between the greasers and the Socs. The rumble is over but that does not mean so if the fight between the two gangs.
