One solution The most important environmental issues that the world is facing due to human activities that arise from misuse, overuse and disregard of the valuable resource in the environment. The environmental problems are causing intensive damage to the earth's ecosystem. In my opinion, one solution that can solve all the environmental problems is to create sustainable development strategies. The reason of sustainable development is due to the important challenge arises from unsustainable consumption pattern and production that have evolved in developed countries and being followed by developing countries. Agenda 21 focused on the interconnection among the three dimensions of sustainable development, economic, social and environmental (United Nations, 2013). In 1992, Professor Mohan Munasinghe created the sustainable development triangle (Figure 1), conprises of social, economic and environmental, where sustainable development needs a integrated analysis from three main components. The social domain focuses on the enrichment of human relationships of individual and group aspiration. The economic domain is focused on improving human welfare through increases in the consumption of goods and services. The environmental domain emphasizes on protection of the integrity and resilience of ecological systems. Thus, the interaction among domains is significant to ensure balanced assessment of trade-offs that might exist among the three dimension (Munasinghe, 2010). This approach provides a effective classification system for sustainability properties and highlights social and political impacts which have often been omitted from consideration in the conventional design
