There are many ways for a person to lead. Though, the difference between leading and ordering can often be confused. To just order people to do things without taking some part is not leading, it is merely an empty voice saying empty words. Leading, though, actually invokes respect. To lead, you must work with everyone else, understand their limits, and create diverse examples. Working with everyone else is a main point. Slave owners were considered a boss, in this sense, in the fact that they would not get up and help their slaves. The boss normally has their own agenda for their own work, while the people beneath them are having to work together to complete what they need to accomplish, along with what their boss could have been doing. Whereas a leader is often the most respected, admired, and helpful slave among the rest. In the fictional story Mockingjay, by Suzanne Collins, the resistance takes orders from a woman named Coin, but are led by the main protagonist Katniss Everdeen.
