“It’s not the destination that matters. It’s the change of scene.” (Brian Eno) This quote by Brian Eno praising the value of the outside world and his surroundings. One career that is worth pursuing is a CSI agent/ Forensic science technician.
Forensic Science is the career field I am interested in. I would enjoy being a forensic science technician because of my interest in mysteries and figuring things out. This career choice is the right choice for me because I would only need a Bachelor’s degree, it would be work I enjoy doing, and I would make an exceptional salary. Forensic science technicians aid investigations by collecting and testing evidence. Many technicians spend time either in a laboratory or on the field in crime scene investigation.
It connects deeply in my past, present, and even connects to my future. It really pushes me to try those new opportunities. I want to be that star soccer player and hit all those shots. To make the best of every opportunity I can take. Also I want to accomplish my goals and to make new ones.
My passions are Lacrosse, Reading, and Family. It’s important to have passions because it makes you who you are. I like lacrosse because it’s a new sport with new rules and new everything to me. I like learning all about it. My team has a lot of people, so I can make new friends.
Other than academics, I have many other interests. After school I spend hours on the court with the Varsity tennis team and inside a studio, I train to become the strongest ballerina I can be. To balance out of stress, I escape myself into designing, volunteering, and experimenting, in the field of environmental
A lot of students considering a civil service career think that a criminal justice degree is only good for being a law enforcement officer or, in combination with a legal degree, a criminal lawyer. Here are a whole range of criminal justice career choices that many degree-holders overlook, but are well worth consideration: Social Work/ Personal Cases These may include child support and child protective services, missing persons, domestic violence and spousal or elderly abuse. Domestic legal social work is often identified as having extreme pros and cons to it. On the one hand, you're working to make everyone's home life better. On the other, the work can be stressful when confronting a perpetrator or heart-wrenching when confronting a victim.
The activity I enjoy outside of my classes is Lacrosse. I started playing Lacrosse in third grade by joining the Farmington Youth Lacrosse team. Lacrosse is something I care about because it is something I am good at and enjoy playing. I also like being on a lacrosse team because it helps me work together with other people and collaborate on group projects in school. What keeps me playing lacrosse is there is always something you can do better and trying to be the best you can be is fun and challenging.
All through school, I would find myself actively participating in one sport to another. I loved being active and thinking only of what I wanted to do. Life has a way of becoming a reality. The choices I made during my younger years have followed me to my current years. The busyness of work, family, and children have restricted my own freedom of time.
Most people my age have a passion for playing sports, but my passion in life is a little different than most. I grew up living on a farm and being around cattle ever since I could walk has been apart of my life, which brought me to one of the reasons why I have a passion for showing cattle. People often wonder why I love showing cattle so much and what the point of it is, but there are so many reasons why I have grown the love for it. There is just something special about the feeling of your heart racing when you walk into the show ring or the handshake from the judge telling you that all your hard work has payed off. The life lessons, the memories, the friends, and the love my family
Soccer had become my go to when I wasn’t feeling good. That’s when my passion for soccer had gotten way stronger. It was all I wanted to do, all I wanted to watch, all I thought about. School had gotten easier, as well as my social life. I found my best friends due to soccer.
The motivation, passion, and the internal will to want to succeed in life has always dwelled within me, so ultimately, all I needed was to find what interest me in life. In the beginning, I found myself staring down the road of becoming a teacher or dental hygienist. At first the idea of becoming a teacher seemed like a prominent, and fulfilling job. I get to convey knowledge to groups of young individuals, I also get to work in a setting with other mature adults who share my passion, and I have the opportunity to work with children; but, ultimately, there was just one main component missing for me, and that was the hands-on aspect. I told myself that I wanted to be involved in a career that is very hands-on.
Sports Management a perfect career When I was Little, my parents constantly asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I always answered them that I wanted to be a soccer player. Soccer has always been my vocation in life, the point I wake up in the mornings for.
Crime has been at its highest this year. Forensic science has played a major part in investigating crimes and searching for evidence that is not seen by the naked eye(Dillon). The field of forensics is continually growing, causes of death have become more interesting, autopsies are more critical, and the salary is appreciable(Gewin). Since there are only 18 forensic science undergraduate programs in the US that have been authorized by the American Academy of Forensic Science, my prospective college choices are limited. After tackling the time it will take to earn my bachelors in forensics(4 years), then finish medical school and four years of residency, it will eventually all be worth the wait.
Soccer has kept me off the streets, it keeps me focused, maintaining agility, stamina and a side of aggression. The feeling I get when playing soccer is indescribable, the wind in my face, the crowd cheering me on..most importantly the goal - soccer relates so much to my everyday life it’s taught me teamwork and keeping myself healthy and sharp. The one person I look up to is Lionel Messi #10, the jersey that I so proudly wear every game, his motivational words, his enthusiasm really drove me to get that number and one of my favorite quotes of his would have to be “the day you think there is no improvements to be made is a sad one for anyone.” this quote is important to me because it’s a quote with such a powerful meaning, telling me that even though you may THINK you can’t get better, or do better something pushes you inside to do much greater things and I’m still learning as I go. You could ask any one of my friends or family members how much soccer has became a part of me, I want to have that name “Destiny Scott” affiliated with soccer it’s become second nature to me, soccer is a major part in my life and it has made me into the person I am
Motivation at school is an important factor because our learners are young and what they need is an experienced person, a facilitator or a motivator who is going to lead them towards the road of success. Since, they are inexperienced they will have to be trained to become mentally, physically and emotionally strong. In relation to Physical Education, Motivation is the key for successful teaching and learning to take place. It can be said that winning things can be very important because if an athlete keeps on training and there is no positive results, then this can affect the mental status. This is why extrinsic motivation is important.
