The person I chosen to talk about is Dr. Paul Fauteck. At a young age he was doing small petty crimes and cutting quitting school. He has been caught stealing, theft and burglary. One of his crime friends was shot and killed by police at age 18.

When we ask a child about their dream job, many answers often come up: police officer, doctor, astronaut, teacher, ninja, princess, etc. However, it is rare to find a few names on that list, especially that of a funeral director or an embalmer. What would it be like to work, everyday, amongst the deceased? Are there any psychological or emotional repercussions on employees and how might one’s vision on life and death change after such a marginal career? Science has come a long way over the years. It has helped countless every day struggles and cure diseases most commonly found. What you don’t hear about however is the advancement of forensic science. Forensic science has helped solve countless cases of murder, rape, and sexual assault. In the case of John Joubert, it helped solve the murders of three young boys with one small piece of evidence that linked him directly to the crime.
I wish to pursue a college degree to aspire to my dream of prevailing as a forensic pathologist. I hope to go to an Indiana college to stay closer to home and care for my grandparents but still exploit the full college experience and secure a career for myself in the long run. I have always understood that to be stable person I had to achieve a college degree to back it up. College is a place where as a student I hope to grow and become inspired by others. I want to pursue a degree to boost my future Masters in Medical School.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics states that in 2016, around three million workers were in the criminal justice field. There are other jobs within the criminal justice system, such as corrections officer, homeland security, and working as private security for events. In today’s society women are more common in the criminal justice field rather than men who would have been seen as dominant in past times in history.
Criminal justice is one of the most important fields dealing with society. The program offers a lot to society. There are many careers to choose from the criminal justice fields like policing, probation officer, or U.S. marshals. Criminal justice has several fields that an individual can choose a career from. The three careers I will be talking about today are FBI agents, CIA, and U.S marshals.
One choice from the Law Enforcement area of this field would be a CSI. This is probably one of the most well-known jobs because of all the television shows. However, these shows do not portray the crime scene process to all its truth. A Crime Scene Investigator is hired as a police officer or civilian. They are the ones who recognize crime scenes, documents the scenes and process any evidence they have gathered and send it to the crime lab.
Crime has been at its highest this year. Forensic science has played a major part in investigating crimes and searching for evidence that is not seen by the naked eye(Dillon). The field of forensics is continually growing, causes of death have become more interesting, autopsies are more critical, and the salary is appreciable(Gewin). Since there are only 18 forensic science undergraduate programs in the US that have been authorized by the American Academy of Forensic Science, my prospective college choices are limited. After tackling the time it will take to earn my bachelors in forensics(4 years), then finish medical school and four years of residency, it will eventually all be worth the wait.
As a digital forensic investigator, I was assigned to a case where my expertise where needed. My role in the investigation was to search the suspects digital evidence to help find more helpful information and advance the case. Overall my job as a digital forensic investigator was to recover and analyse the digital evidence so that it could be used in the criminal prosecution. Approach to Case My method of investigating a case was using a systematic approach as this is the accepted procedure to follow.
