This scene features Lady Macbeth speaking to herself; expressing her thoughts out loud. She speaks of killing Duncan: “The raven himself is hoarse/ That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan” (45-46). She then calls upon the spirits to assist her in murder (47-51). Shakespeare uses words with negative connotations, such as “hoarse”, “croaks”, “cruelty”, and “blood” (45-50).
Foreshadowing is a form of writing that warns you of a future event. The play Macbeth by Shakespear uses many different types of foreshadowing, I will explain the use of animals to help develop character and emotions from the audience. I start with how Shakespear characterize by using the animals to help the audience understand the true personalities of the characters, not what people believe them to be. The first example is “Approach thou like the rugged Russian bear, / The arm’d rhinoceros, or the Hyrcan tiger, / Take any shape but that, and my firm nerves / Shall never tremble” (Act 3, Scene 4, Lines 124-125) (2). This scene is explaining when Macbeth is speaking to Lady Macbeth and showing his feeling about Banquo’s ghost.
William Shakespeare utilises various literary techniques to explore the concept of tragedy in Macbeth. There are many literary techniques demonstrated in Macbeth to represent Macbeth's actions throughout the whole play. That will lead him to the destruction of his life. The main ideas among Macbeth's downfall are recognised as he is manipulated by Lady Macbeth and the outcome of what Macbeth's surroundings will experience and Macbeth himself, which leads to tragedy. In Act 3, Scene 4, many quotes in Macbeth use literary techniques that Shakespeare uses to represent his play.
Furthermore, now that Lady Macbeth is aware of Macbeth’s possible promotion, she decides to take matters into her own hands and kill the king. As she begins to articulate a plan on how she and her husband will execute this murder, she foreshadows the eventual death of King Duncan. For example, after discovering that King Duncan will be visiting the Macbeth estate, Inverness, Lady Macbeth has decided to put her plan into action and kill the King that night. She exclaims to Macbeth, “O never/ Shall sun that morrow see!” (I.VI.
While the witches are making their predictions about both Macbeth and Banquo, the prophecies made foreshadow many upcoming events about to occur. I do not personally believe that directly telling that something will happen, such as Macbeth becoming king, is foreshadowing, however, that combined with the predictions made about Banquo do create foreshadowing. While it is said that Macbeth will become king, it is also said that Banquo's children will become kings, and these two events contradict each other. Since it is established that Macbeth is a ruthless soldier on the battlefield, it can be assumed that he will fight for what he wants, thus foreshadowing that Macbeth may in fact kill Banquo in order to prevent Banquo's children from gaining

After speaking about their next meeting and encounter with Macbeth, these wicked witches went their separate ways and vanished, waiting for what riveting occurrences would soon take place. Meanwhile, at Dunisnane Castle, the Scottish King hears the delightful news that Macbeth has brought home yet another triumphant victory.
What is foreshadowing? Foreshadowing is a warning or a indication of a future event. It allows us to read a part of a story then later connect it with something that a character said. Now the play that we are gonna foreshadow today is the play of Macbeth. Shakespeare uses three witches as a main sources of foreshadowing.
For me, in Shakespeare's Macbeth foreshadowing is labeled as fate and fate plays a large role. Not only do the “witches” use it to wreak havoc among the nobility in Scotland at the time, but many characters throughout the play try to change their individual fate. Macbeth does it, and so does Lady Macbeth. Then later in the play, even Malcolm, Macduff, and the other revolutionaries try to alter fate. Throughout the play of Macbeth, Shakespeare chooses to use animals to portray foreshadowing, to develop character and to get a wide variety of emotions from the audience.
Justin Kurzel uses a range of different imagery in the 2015 film adaptation of Macbeth (written by Shakespeare) to convey key ideas and themes. The use of light and dark, animal imagery, weather imagery and blood imagery, convey a key idea or theme such as natural order, good & evil and guilt and consciences. Justin Kurzel adaptation uses animal imagery and weather imagery to communicate the theme of natural order. Macbeth’s act of killing king Duncan is thought to be unnatural for it is unnatural to be killed and the kings was thought to be chosen by god. This unnatural act disrupts the natural order.
The knowledge of witches’ prediction that Macbeth will be the next king of Scotland aroused Lady Macbeth’s desire to see Macbeth crowns himself. She believed that he deserved to be the king and he is worth it. She is aware of her husband’s bravery at the battlefield and his contribution to the victory. She is a quick thinker. “Raven himself is hoarse”, she compared the messenger who delivered the news that King Duncan will spend the night at Macbeth’s castle to an ill-omen bird.

It stars Michael Fassbender as Macbeth, Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth, Paddy Considine as Banquo and David Thewils as King Duncan. The plot involves an army leader (Macbeth), who wins an important battle, but he sees that three women were watching him while he was fighting. They approach Macbeth and Banquo and they tell them three prophecies; one of them is that Macbeth will become the king.

Lady Macbeth is shown, as a character that schemes into making rebellious plots. She reveals the desire for wanting to lose her feminine qualities in order to be able to gain more masculine ones.
The narrative in Macbeth is very difficult and hard to follow. Even after having it explained to me I still found the first act to be difficult. I attribute this to the fact that Shakespeare is introducing characters using complex sentences but the added affect of old english made it especially difficult in the first scene and less difficult in the second. I attribute the difficulty of the second scene to the rising action as the conflict begins to present itself. Of the two worlds that are intersecting I'd say that its when Lady Macbeth is trying to convince Macbeth to kill King Duncan which adds a degree of complication and when Ban quo is murdered.
