Meri Brown actually divorced her husband Kody Brown so he could legally marry his 4th wife Robyn Brown. This was all in hopes that Kody could adopt her 3 children and make them part of the Brown family. People shared that Meri Brown is now speaking out about the adoption and how happy she is that these children are not a big part of their family. These children are from Robyn's previous marriage, but Kody has been raising them as his own for a while now. Everyday children are being placed in foster homes facing abuse, unloving parents, and even death. The system has only progressively gotten worse leaving behind children traumatized to a point where no amount of love or therapy can fix them.
I, today will be the judge in the Ponyboy Curtis against the local foster care case. Our jury will be one half foster care and one half greasers Here in honorable federal court. Ponyboy, I call you up to stand. I thought that it would go like this. That he shouldn 't be taken away because his brothers are a good family,and stable.
Should Ponyboy be sent to foster care? Ponyboy is a 14 year old boy living with his brothers. His parents died 6 months ago. Foster care is a temporarily place, where children in bad situations are sent. Sending Ponyboy to foster care is the best choice because he will be able to get proper care, live in a good, stable home, and neither of his brothers have experience of child care.

I think Pony boy should be in foster care for a suitable environment. I think he should be in here for three reason one is adults available, want let him run the streets, and they have better homes. Since his mom and dad died him and his brothers have been living together. There were some cases that he was scared to be put in a foster home. In this essay I am going to be telling whether or not I feel like he should go in a foster home.
Pony-boy should stay with his family, because Derry and Soda-pop is all he got, foster could be abusive, he would have more friends there, and he wont get to see Derry and Soda-pop no more. That's sad when you can't see your family no more. First, he would be with family. Pony-boy is so close to his brothers.

As time passes and the child remain in foster care, visits between the child and birth parents will steadily increase in frequency and moderation. Foster care is not a perfect system. Many children that are put into the foster care system are separated from their siblings and put into harmful environments. These environments are supposed to be safe and give the child a chance at a better life. However, children living in group homes are not able to develop secure attachment to the people who are supposed to take care of them. Children bounce back and forth from house to house, family to family, causing them to live in an unstable environment through most (if not all of) their child hood.
Our foster care system was developed in the 19 century, and it all started with Charles Loring Brace taking in homeless children. The system has come a long way since it started by passing laws, such as the child abuse prevention and treatment act, that protect children, and among another things, however, it still has problems. Some of the major issues they have are children placements, preparing them for adulthood, the rules and regulations with the foster parents, and drug abuse among teens in foster care. Child welfare promises these kids a place to call home, to be loved, supported and cherished, as every child should. Some of these kids go from foster home to another one, which affects them in their development.
A big problem in the system that they fail to see is abuse. Abuse can be done emotionally, sexually and physically also mistreatment and neglect, all done by these certified state caregivers. Liftingtheevil.org cites the "troubling statistics from one study, claiming that over 28% of the children in state care are abused while in the system"(2017). There are many stories of abuse, and the abuse comes from the foster parents. We expect the children to be placed in safe homes.
Foster care is one of the oldest social systems, its official implementation dating back to 1909, when the federal government officially suggested that foster homes were the best way to care for children, as opposed to the former system of orphanages and orphan trains. Foster care began as a voluntary way for parents to ensure their children could live a better life, but has since become a largely involuntary way to remove a child from a potentially dangerous situation (Rosenfield et al., 1997). Social workers predate this system, first appearing within the first Charity Organization as “friendly visitors” in 1877 (Segal, 2020). Social workers and foster care have long been intertwined, but social policy dictates much of what the foster care
There are four types of development, physical, cognitive, emotional, and social. Physical development is the growth of gross and fine motor, skills. Gross motor skills are walking, running, throwing, and crawling. Fine motor skills are writing, holding a fork, and using scissors. Physical development is also the easiest to see.
Literature Review Throughout the years, research has been conducted on the effects that foster care can have on children. In the United States alone, there are roughly 670,000 children who have spent time in the foster care system each year (“Foster Care,” 2017). Of those children, approximately 33% of them age out of foster care system. Studies then show that the foster care system has had varying effects on the children who are/have been a part of it. In many cases, studies have noted the effects of attachment for children in foster care.
