Four Day-Personal Narrative

I knew that death was real and it would eventually happen to all of us. But at 13 I never realized I would experience it yet. I thought that this week was gonna be fun, I mean, who doesn't love four days off of school. But it wasn't, this was the worst 4 day weekend of my life. I realized to hold the people/animals you love the most closest to you because the next morning they could be gone. During the 4 day weekend, I was going to head down to the Lake of the Ozarks to help my grandparents winterize their lake house. Exclaimed my grandpa, in a sad monotone voice. It was sad to hear him talk like that. After Katie's grandpa proclaimed this Lacey decided to take a fat poop right in front of us. Katie and her grandpa freaked out and took lacey outside. I was right. Lacey wasn't ok, no in fact she was a wreck, more than a wreck, this is the worst “sickness” i've seen in a dog ever. I hoped she was ok but the grueling fact that she wast was haunting me so bad I couldn't sleep. The next morning Katie’s grandparent let her sleep in since she has to wake up at 6:30 on school days. When she walked downstairs she saw Lacey and started to tear up. Lacey was laying on the couch curled up into a ball. A cute, fluffy, curly, ball. It was so sad to see Lacey like this. Katie then proceeded to get breakfast then her grandma said something that hurt her badly. “We’re going to leave later today, after what happened last night I don't think Lacey can make it much longer, I already called the vet and he said he could get us in around 8.
