Two lovers with one devastating story of how their love ended, this describes Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo & Juliet. In this play to young lovers fight to stay together, ultimately ending any chance they had of being together while they were alive, all caused by a single act from each of them. Even though Romeo and Juliet physically ended their own lives, the Nurse and character flaws should be responsible for their early deaths. Many people may have a counter example to my examples, so I have planned ahead to stop them in their tracks. Some people may say that Friar Lawrence is ultimately to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, but I believe that he isn’t responsible. One of the reasons that other people may think that he is responsible is because he gave her the potion the faked her death, and the other reason being that he didn’t stop her from committing suicide when she found Romeo dead next to her. First off, they commited suicide, which is the ultimate reason why they are deceased. This however is because of their flaws. Instead of talking to the Friar about what he was going to do, or even just waiting a little while longer he gulped down the poison which killed him so quick that he couldn’t be saved. In another way, instead of waiting for the prince to arrive, Romeo killed Tybalt after he slayed Mercutio for revenge. If he would have waited until the prince arrived he would have never been banished resulting in their lives going on for even longer. Finally, instead of just running away to Mantua, Juliet made Friar Lawrence come up with a scheme just so that she make her family think that she was dead, causing Romeo to think that she was dead because he never received the letter from Friar Lawrence. “Give me some present counsel, or behold: ‘twixt my extremes and me this bloody shall play the umpire,” said Juliet (pg
