The concerning conflict enclosing the issue of the Gender-Based Wage Discrepancies has been around since World War II. While the gender pay gap has grown bigger and bigger for nearly four decades, women have fought for their rights and their beliefs. Unfortunately the Gender-Based Wage discrepancies are caused because there is an existent inequality between men and women where men are considered the more capable gender between the two. In spite of this, there is a large number of countries that are trying to eliminate this broad pay gap that has caused a lot of conflict and tragedy. The quarrel behind this is the countries where no one is taking action against this gender-based wage discrepancies and women are not aware and can’t identify that their rights are being violated.

Since the 20th century, the 1900’s, after Belarus broke free from the Russians in August 25, 1991, there has been a strong division of labor by gender. Gender roles in Belarus are considered to be mere traditional. Women are housewives, taking care of their household and children, while men work in different areas and have more opportunities. Therefore authorities and men try to avoid the conflict. Most of Belarusian women stay home to take care of their children unaware of what they could be doing and of their rights. There are some exceptions though, for example the “Women’s Christian-Democratic Movement” which is an organization that helps protect women’s rights in Belarus, defending the needs of women’s participation in the decision making process, and resist all gender discrimination. Other organizations that protect women’s rights in Belarus are “League of Women in Belarus”, “League of Women-Electors” and “Committee of Soldiers’
