Today there are still major gaps between and inequalities that exist, especially dealing with gender roles. Unfortunately the world still undervalue women, some countries worse than others. There are still many social, economic, and civil injustices that occur, but lucky there are countries and companies across the world that are playing a tremendous role in gender equality as it relates to employment. The United States Multinational Companies (MNC’s) are leading the pack when it comes to gender equality, they are allowing women from many countries rightfully rise to leadership (managerial) roles based from their tremendous skill levels (realistically many times more skilled than their male counterparts). It’s a huge disturbance to see women in today’s era still not being given the opportunity to excel professionally, yet alone provided opportunities to be engaged and inclusive to create impact in this world. technology companies i.e. HP and Intel, have operations in India and China where they employ women in higher numbers than Indian and China firms (Manuel, 2016). They are leading the way by implementing programs to help recruit, retain, develop, and allow female employees rise to leadership roles (Manuel, 2016). American companies can continue set the example and help break down the barriers of gender inequalities in the work force, and hopefully this will help society as a eliminate the barriers that do exist that continues to hinder the growth and opportunities of our women. I also believe America companies could actually start enforcing governmental policies in other countries by making gender equality as a priority to conduct business in other countries, allowing woman in their country opportunities for employment and professional
