Introduction: The purpose of this report is to communicate clearly with the MTSU students to the content and method of teaching in three courses I am currently taking by using the analysis of each class. Methods: Three courese were use in this study with three exaple for each course. The General Chemistry I, Intro to Engineering Design, and Pre-Calculus course. All of these courses are taken at MTSU University in the fall of 2015. Results General Chemistry I (CHEM-1110): This course is care about the basic chemistry stuff after what you got in the high school. There are many important things you will learn in the CHEM-1110 course such as: Fundamental concepts of atomic structure: you will examine the components of atoms and the important characteristics about it. chemical reactions: you will learn the types of chemical reactions and how they occur. molecular structure and bonding: diffrences between the chemical bonds and the names of chemical compounds. …show more content…
All of that divided in three hours of lecture and one three hour laboratory every week for the whole semester. This class is very important for the engineering people to introduce them into the major. Thats why is count as 4 credit course. Moreover, you will need to reach up to 62% and up to 50% laboratory with doing all the checkpoint that profesor give you as a homework assigned for the week . In order, to succeed in this course you have to attend the class all the time at science building MWF at 9:30am to be sure you are not going to miss the lesson.
